Nilotanypus

Larva small size.  They inhabit in the sandy pebble bottom in nomal or rapid flow .Nilotanypus is distributed over the country widely.  Some of them all claws of posterior parapod with serrated  , some 1 or 2 claws serrated .

Middle tooth extending beyond other teeth. Other 4teeth about equal size. Paraligyla bifid . Pecten phypopharyngis with 5〜7 teeth. Antenna with 4 segments., 3/5 for head length.
antenal ratio 2.4 〜3.3.
Mandible curves gently.  basal tooth and inner teeth large both.
Body length 2.5〜 3mm . pale yellowish green, semitransparent.
Cephalic index 0.5〜0.56 .Without fringe of swim-setae.
Dorosomentum without teeth .
M appendage triangle. Granulose band of pseudoradula not finely .
 Anal tubules long and slender , about 1.5〜2 times of posterior parapod.
Height of procercue 3〜4 times of diameter. with 7 anal setae, about 6times of procercus.

There are many spacies of Natarsia . They are distributed over the country widely.。

5 teeth of ligula concave( upper photo.)  or straight (following fig..).  Basal tooth of mandible very large.

Pseudoradula broad , granulation fine and uniform.

Larsia

Body length about 4mm. A livimg body brown spotty  and translucent.
3 or 4 pairs of bristle on each body segments.
Takahasi river (Okayama pref.) Mozuri river (Shizuoka pref.) They inhabit in the cool and clear water area.

5 teeth of ligula concave ,  outer teeth lager than inner teeth , Inner teeth straight. Paraligula bifid.
Pecten phypopharyngis with 11〜12 teeth , inner several teeth large.
 Mandible curved gently. inner teeth very small, basal tooth large.
Antenna with 5 segments.    Antennal ratio 3.4〜3.5.  3 rd.and 4 th.segment almost equal length.

Zavrelimyia

Body length 6〜6.5mm. a living body color light greenish brown. Without bristle on body segments.
I caught 2 species , Yakusima Iland and Kumano river (Nara pref.)

5 teeth equal length , inner tooth straight , outer teeth brown , other teeth light yellow. Ligula thin toward the lower part from the upper.  The upper part the twice of lower.  Paraligula bifid. Teeth of pecten hypopharyngis 10 or more. Several teeth of inner side large . Antenne with 4 teeth. Length 1/2 or more of head.  Antennel ratio 2.2〜2.4. 2nd segment long, 3rd, 4th segment very short.
Mandible curved gently . Both basal tooth and inner teeth large .

Body : 6〜9mm. , light yellow.  Without fringe of swim setae. They are distributed over the country widely.

Basal tooth of mandible not large but clearly 5 teeth of ligula concave . inner teeth curved to outwards . All teeth comparatively short.
Pecten hypopharyngis about 20 , 3 teeth at corner large.
 ・Antenna  : 4 segments,  half of head,  3 times of  mandible . Antannal ratio 3.5〜 3.8.
 ・Anal tubules spindle shape. The height of   procercus 3 times of diameter.
 ・Anal setae.

Arctopelopia is distributed widely over the country.  I comfirmed 3 species so far.

They are distributed widely over the country Rheopelopia has many points similar to Conchapelopia.
